Biography

In 2023, Ross is living and working in Ottawa (Orleans). A long marriage ended just before the pandemic, but the kids are doing great. Marshall is studying Math and Physics in Co-op at Waterloo, and Rachel is in Communications at Carleton.

Ross has been designing and inventing forever, always trying to find better ways to do things. There have been personal projects like the Kitchen Cone for food scraps, or jobs for others like the Nexus walker. Another even better walker has been in the works for years (literally) and should pay off some day.

He’s also recently been doing some small business automation consulting work, designing and building safety stops, a pneumatic PLC box folder, and a gravity fed tube dispenser built on top of a cut down 3HP treadmill.

So If you want a tiny house on wheels, a geodesic dome greenhouse with an earth battery, or a better seasonal solar panel mount, or you just need to MacGyver a problem, Ross is your guy. He can also fix your mattress to relieve hip and shoulder pain.
