Serge Bertrand

Biography

Privileged to have served the nation for nearly four decades in the Royal Canadian Navy, at sea from north of the Arctic Circle in the Atlantic to down under in the Pacific, while touching foot on all major continents save Antarctica, and getting away with nearly all my crimes and misdemeanours along the way. With my blushing bride MaryAnn helped to raise two children of whom we're both very proud: Daniel & Jenny, the former who has followed his father into military service with the Army and the latter who works for an international charitable organization. Now happily retired and pursuing my passion for cycling while giving back to the naval family through volunteer work with the RCN Benevolent Fund.
